Exceptional Antique Renaissance Stone Venetian Fireplace

A very rare 19th Century Italian Renaissance fireplace from Venice carved in Istrian stone. The execution and finesse of the stone carving is exceptional, with the whole piece being of museum quality. The fireplace was removed 23 years ago and stored in a tractor shed ever since. The last of the images shows the fireplace in situ. Currently undergoing restoration. Overall width 200cm, overall height 185cm.
