19TH CENTURY BATHSTONE FIGURE OF ST. AUGUSTUS

A slightly over full-size solid carved Bathstone figure of Saint Augustus. Provenance a convent in Clacton On Sea. 76" tall.



Very good original condition with some old restoration and wear to the hands and feet.

A very early English limestone font recently dug out of a Yorkshire hedge. Good mossy patina to the stone.
