A period 17th Century Louis XIV French stone fireplace of good size.

Provenance Chateau Brown, Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux. To this day Chateau Brown is a fine property with a traditional vineyard producing top quality wines of the Graves appellation.

Four reclaimed English wood chimneypieces dating to the 1920's.

i) Painted pine and composite fireplace with a ram's mask to each corner-blocking above Corinthian capitols. Overall 74" wide x 55" tall. Opening 46" wide x 42" tall. Very good condition. £650 inc vat

ii)Carved solid pine fireplace with a well-detailed floral swag to the cental frieze panel. Unpainted. Overall 67" wide x 52.75" tall. Opening 48" wide x 41" tall. Very good original condition with a small amount of repairable damage to top of the mantelshelf. £650 inc vat

iii) Painted George II style pine and gesso fireplace with an Ionic capitol below each corner-blocking. Overall width 66", overall height 50". Opening 46" wide x 41" tall. Good condition but needs a repair to the right-hand corner of the mantelshelf. £350 inc vat

iv) Painted wood (Deal) and composite fireplace in the 18th Century style. Overall width 73.5", overall height 52". Opening 45.75" wide x 36.5" tall. Very good overall condition. Will possibly need re-painting. £550 inc vat
