ANTIQUE FRENCH STONE NEO-CLASSICAL FIREPLACE
One of my French colleagues (Monsieur "Cat" as he's known) came up with this beautiful 19th Century Neo-Classical stone fireplace a few months back - saved from a building being ripped down in the North of France. Apparently he did a deal with the demolition foreman and then skilfully negotiated his way past the huge diggers after midday when everyone was off at the restaurant. A few hours more and this finely proportioned fireplace would have been rubble. An export license later and this lucky survivor is ready to grace the finest of interiors once again.

Overall width 67"/170cm, overall height 45.25"/116cm
Opening 57.5"/146cm wide x 39.5"/100cm tall
